L’université de l’État de l’Ohio, ou Ohio State University, couramment appelée OSU, est une université américaine fondée en 1870. Sa devise est Disciplina in civitatem (éducation pour la citoyenneté). Le campus principal est situé à Columbus (Ohio). L’université possède également des campus régionaux situés à Lima, Mansfield, Marion et Newark.

L’OSU est actuellement la première université[1] des États-Unis en termes de nombre d'étudiants inscrits à partir d'automne 2007 (52 568 étudiants sur le campus principal de Columbus et 60 347 dans tout l’État).[2]

Les équipes sportives universitaires d'Ohio State portent le nom d’Ohio State Buckeyes.
