Un LP (de l'anglais Long Play ou Long Playing), est le nom donné aux disques vinyles (et plus rarement aux disques compacts) qui comportent un nombre suffisant de titres pour constituer un album (généralement plus de 8).

Son appellation provient du format 33 tours et est à opposer au maxi (ou EP, de l'anglais Extended Play) qui ne comporte que 4 à 8 plages.
